Denver picks Axon for license plate reader contract

The Denver City Council narrowly chose Axon for its one-year contract, replacing the previous contract with Flock. The contract includes guardrails designed to protect the city's data and allows for the installation of 50 cameras in high-traffic areas. The city's mayor's administration supports the deal, stating it will assist in the investigation of homicides and other serious crimes.
