Kanye West's upcoming album "Bully" does not use artificial intelligence, a shift from previously describing it as part of his music process. This shift puts the album at the center of a broader debate over how artists use AI in music. West's music manager Peter Jideonwo and former chief of staff at West's Yeezy fashion brand Milo Yiannopoulos also confirmed that the album did not use AI. The album was previewed in September 2024 when West played "Beauty and the Beast" during a performance in China. Since its release, West faced scrutiny over sexual assault and battery allegations and other posts in which he called himself a "Nazi" and said "I love Hitler."
