Apple TV's 'Schmigadoon!' earns 12 Tony Award nominations

Apple TV series "Schmigadoon!" has received 12 nominations for the 2026 Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Actress. The show was canceled on Apple TV in 2024 after two seasons and a third was written for a stage adaptation. The Broadway production is co-produced by Apple TV and is inspired by the series. Prior to the show's departure, the series won numerous awards, including a Creative Arts Emmy for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for "Corn Puddin'," and a Critics Choice TV award. The 2026 awards will be announced at Radio City Music Hall on June 7.
