President Trump celebrated the ceasefire and the "complete, immediate, and safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz" on Truth Social. He also outlined a plan for the coming days, which includes tariffs on countries supplying Military Weapons to Iran and on any and all goods sold to the United States of America, 50% effective immediately. Despite this, uncertainty remains over the contents of the peace proposal.
