A decade ago, Brandon "Brannu" Fulton's dream to open an equestrian farm in south Fulton County, Georgia, was thwarted when he was accused of animal cruelty and seven of his horses were seized. Fulton was cleared of the charges but his horses remained unreturned. He filed a federal lawsuit seeking compensation from the county, but the case was dismissed after the charges were dismissed. Independent filmmaker Adelin Gasana, who also produced "Bannon," took two and a half years to bring Fulton's story to the big screen, and the film will be screened at the 21st annual Atlanta Documentary Film Festival.
