The incident was reportedly one of several instances that led to crew members walking off the set due to safety concerns. The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) had previously called a strike against the production on March 26 over a series of labor issues. Following the incident, sources said that Kilcooyne required stitches all over his hands and is doing well. Despite the strike, filming continues and the companies are working to replace the striking crew members.
