Glenn Close, a 79-year-old screen legend, was immortalized at a Hand & Footprint Ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. The ceremony was held alongside family, friends, and fans. Close shared memories of working with Robin Williams and Mary Beth Hurt, whom she called her "beloved best friend of 52 years." She compared the profession to being an alien and expressed her fear of a world where civilians completely disenfranchise them. The event was part of the TCM Classic Film Festival celebrating cinema's history in Los Angeles.
