Cy-Fair ISD employee charged in connection with student's death bonds out of jail, records show

Cy-Fair ISD behavior specialist, Donald Perkins, has been charged with injury to the disabled in connection with the death of a student with autism. The student was allegedly pushed into a classroom by Perkins, who attempted to resuscitate him before he was airlifted to a hospital. The charge could result in up to 99 years in prison if convicted. Perkins' bond was set at $30,000 and he is currently on administrative leave with the district.
