Battiest Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte David is expected to retire after 14 seasons, according to a press conference scheduled for 2 p.m. ET. This follows the team's signing of veteran linebacker Christian Rozeboom. David, a second-round pick by the Buccaneers in the 2012 NFL Draft, earned First-team All-Pro honors in 2013, a Pro Bowl nod in 2015, and second-level recognition in 2016 and 2020. He played 1,023 snaps in his 14th season and was a captain on the Buccaneers' Super Bowl-winning team in 2020.
