The Knicks lost 107-106 to the Hawks in Game 2, with no instances of foul tactics being used to subdue Mitchell Robinson. Despite this, Robinson was able to make a significant impact on both the game and score 13 points, seven rebounds, a steal and a block in 18 minutes. Despite the controversy, Coach Mike Brown refused to alter his game plan or how he would use Robinson. The loss was not enough as the Knicks failed to secure the first two games of the series.
