Wu-Tang Clan's Method Man has faced backlash from fans after missing the group's recent Australian tour dates. The hip-hop collective’s Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber Tour was advertised as featuring all living members, but he did not appear at the Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney shows. This led to Ticketek offering refunds to some concertgoers. In an Instagram Live post, Method Man stated that he had made it clear prior to the international leg of the tour that he was not participating due to other commitments. He also blamed promoters for overzealous promotion of the dates.
