Disney has promoted April Carretta to EVP of communications, reporting to chief communications officer Paul Roeder, and will continue leading PR for Disney's direct-to-consumer business, tech and product teams. This role will be part of her expanded role as day-day communications lead for Dana Walden, who recently took over as president and chief creative officer under CEO Josh D'Amaro. The announcement was made in a memo to staff.
