Astronaut takes photo of Cranfield University from the ISS

Astronaut Jack Hathaway, a former student at Cranfield University, took a photo of the campus from the International Space Station and sent it to the vice chancellor of the university. Hathaway had to wait for good British weather to take the picture, which he described as "ancient". The photo was taken during an orbit and was sent to the media following the day of the photo. The university's vice-chancellor, Dr. Kathleen, praised Hathaway's thoughtfulness and dedication to the institution.
