PSE&G employees have been praised for their willingness to help in emergencies, such as when a child is attacked by a dog, who left a significant laceration on his hand. The company's technicians, James and Nick, applied first-aid to the child's wound and remained with him until his parents arrived and took him to the local hospital. While inspecting a home in Ewing, New Jersey, Derrick, one of our gas meter technicians, identified a gas leak from a broken flex line and shut off the area safe. During a no-heat call in Jersey City, a homeowner collapsed while guiding a technician to a malfunctioning boiler, and he carried her safely down the stairs and made sure her heat was restored before he left. These employees' dedication to community service and public service is what it means to be an employee of PSEG.
