Warren softball beats Downey with shutout from Vivi Navarrete

Warren's softball team defeated Downey 7-0, marking their second consecutive win in the Gateway League. Sophomore pitcher Vivi Navarrete pitched a complete game, allowing just three hits and striking out five. The Bears took control of the game from the start, scoring four runs in the first inning and never looked back. Despite a slow start from Downey starting pitcher Leilani Kaiwi Gonzales, Warren closed out the game with three runs. The team improved to 16-9 overall and is now tied for first place with La Mirada at 3-1 in the league.
