A video showing a chocolate-colored British shorthair named Louis being given a face massage has been viewed over 442,000 times on TikTok. The video shows Louis's owner holding him on her lap and gently massaging his furry face. For a cat to have brown fur, the animal must inherit the right combination of genes from both parents. The gene for black (B) fur is dominant, while the genes for chocolate brown (b) and cinnamon Brown (b1) fur are both recessive. If a cat has one b gene and one b1, it will be chocolate brown, while a cat with two b1 genes will be cinnamon brown.
