A Big 12 team is headed to the Final Four

The Arizona Wildcats have reached the Final Four of the NCAA, ending a 25-year drought. The Wildcats defeated Purdue 79-64 in the Elite Eight. The team's current head coach, Tommy Lloyd, is considered a front contender to become North Carolina's next head coach. This marks the seventh time since 2016 that the Big 12 has had a team in the final four. The Big 12 finished 7-7 in the tournament, with four underperforming based on their seed.
