James McCoy Taylor, a former contestant on "The Bachelorette," has been charged with assault causing bodily injury and unlawful restraint in relation to a 2024 incident. This arrest follows a period of poor publicity for the ABC reality TV show. After pleading guilty in 2025, Taylor was ordered to perform 80 hours of community service and pay over $1,100 in fines and court costs. He was re-arrested after missing court-ordered payments related to the case.
