Retired Air Force major general, Neil McCasland, went missing from his Albuquerque home on February 27, two weeks after he was last seen. His wife, Susan McCassland Wilkerson, left their home for a medical appointment and he was gone an hour later. His phone, prescription glasses, and wearable devices were found at the residence. His hiking boots, wallet, and a.38 caliber revolver with a leather holster were also missing. The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office has issued a silver alert and is urging the public to come forward with any information about McCaslands' whereabouts. The FBI confirmed it is assisting in the investigation. McCaslan had previously served as commander of the research laboratory at Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force.
