A local family is searching for answers after their loved one, David Torrez, was hit and killed in a hit-and-run crash on I-40 East in New Mexico. Police believe a semi or other large truck hit Torrez's motorcycle from behind, killing him due to the double tire skid marks on the interstate. The family also found his wallet empty and video from a nearby gas station suggests that whoever killed Torrez likely knew what happened and left him to die on the side of the freeway. The New Mexico State Police are investigating the cause of the accident. The motorcycle accident remains under investigation. The reward is $10,000 for information leading to an arrest.
