Amazon's artificial intelligence-powered delivery drones are causing customers to lose their orders due to their rapid delivery. The drones are dropping off packages from 10-feet in the air, causing the contents of each box to be damaged. This has led to angry customers, with one user expressing their frustration at the lack of gentle landings. The company's fleet of Prime Air MK30 drones is set to launch in late 2024, offering "ultra-fast" shipping to US shoppers in select states. However, accidents, including a recent crash-and-burn into a Texas building, and several mid-flight malfunctions, have occurred since the drones’ inaugural launch.
