JPMorganChase is set to become the main tenant of the new South Station Tower in 2028, making it the tower's anchor tenant. The move signals the company's continued expansion in Massachusetts, with the bank expecting to open its 100th branch later this year. The bank will occupy eight-and-a-half floors of the tower, which will house about 1,000 employees. As part of the expansion, the company plans to add 300 jobs in the next several years. JPMorganChase already has over 1,600 employees in Boston.
