The state's private economic development arm, JobsOhio, is under scrutiny after investing $60,000 in a podcast linked to the resignation of former Ohio State University President Ted Carter. The organization has also given over $164 million to businesses and universities in 2023, according to its most recent tax filing. The money includes a $21.8 million grant to the Cleveland Clinic, $18.1 million for Amgen, and $10.7 million for Honda.
