Fitness influencer Donald Zibenhood, who was arrested after his husband was found fatally stabbed in his Manhattan apartment, will not face homicide charges, despite the medical examiner ruling that his spouse was fatally beaten and stabbed. The medical examiner found that Jacob Zibrenhood, 34, died of multiple blunt and sharp force injuries to his legs and other areas of his body, including acute alcohol and lorazepam intoxication, as well as chronic alcohol use. Assistant District Attorney Samantha LiTrenta also revealed that Jacob had a blood alcohol level of.40% mixed with valium in his system, which could have killed him even if he hadn't been stabbed. Donald, who is not present at the hearing, still faces charges of assault and burglary, which he could face up to 25 years behind bars if convicted.
