The Kansas City Royals defeated the Seattle Mariners 4-1, ending a three-game series where they held the team to just four hits. Kris Bubic, who pitched seven innings, allowed only four hits and ended the game with seven strikeouts. The Mariners' only run came in the third inning when Leo Rivas scored on a fielder’s choice groundball from Josh Naylor. Isaac Collins also contributed to the win with an RBI double in the sixth.
