Residents at Park Place Apartments in downtown Sacramento have raised concerns about bedbugs affecting multiple apartments and ongoing pest-control efforts. The building, which provides affordable housing for seniors, is a 14-story building near 13th and N streets and is located just blocks from the California State Capitol. Several residents expressed concern about management's response, while others declined to speak publicly due to fear of retaliation. One tenant claimed management blamed the resident for bringing bedbugs into the apartment. The complex is managed by Ray Stone Inc. KCRA 3 has asked management to clarify its pest- control schedule, explain its response to complaints and inform incoming tenants about previous infestations.
