Racine & Me: Racine Starving Artist Fair returns August 2 with more than 130 artists

The Racine Starving Artist Fair, the largest juried art fair in Racine, Kenosha, and Walworth counties, is returning to the historic DeKoven Center on August 2 with over 130 artists. The fair, which includes free shuttle buses and live musical performances, will be held rain or shine. About one-quarter of the featured artists are from Racine County, while nearly three-quarters travel from other Wisconsin communities. The event also offers free children's art project area, food trucks, and live music performances throughout the day. Proceeds from the event help fund scholarships for Racine county art students.
