Officer shoots suspect accused of sexual assault in southeast Harris County standoff, HPD says

The Houston Police Department has confirmed that officers shot a suspect accused of sexual assault in southeast Harris County, Texas, after responding to a shooting in the 6000 block of Bellfort Street. The suspect was reportedly barricaded inside a home and officers discharged their weapons and hit him. No officers were injured in the incident. The incident is currently under investigation.
