Police are investigating the deaths of former Milwaukie mayor Jeremy Ferguson and his wife, Mandy Zelinka, who were found shot to death in their Santa Monica home. Ferguson, who served as mayor for six years before stepping down in 2015, sent an email suicide note to a friend before possibly shooting his wife and then himself. Zelinka was a fashion expert and a marketing consultant. The investigation is ongoing, but no suicide is suspected.
