She recalled the happy time celebrating the Marvel film’s global success and feeling that Chadwick was so deserving of all the success. However, his cancer returned in 2019 and he died in 2020 at the age of 43. The decision to keep Chadwick's cancer diagnosis private was intentional on his behalf, she shared.
