A motor vehicle stop in Ashland, New Hampshire, led to a deadly shootout with one of the police officers, resulting in one officer being injured and the death of the suspect. The incident occurred when a driver allegedly produced a gun and engaged in an exchange of gunfire with the police. The suspect was later shot by police and pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported. The New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit is investigating the incident.
