The Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro and QuietComfort Ultra 2 earbuds have been tested by ZDNET, with the winner being the Galaxy Bud's 4 Pro. The two devices offer similar active noise cancellation performance and last up to 5.5 hours on a charge. However, the QC Ultra 2 can sound more aggressive than their Samsung counterparts, offering a thumping bass response and a V-shaped sound with brighter highs. The Samsung Galaxy Pro is considered a true competitor to Apple's AirPods Pro 3 and uses Bluetooth 6.1 and supports SBC, AAC, and Samsung Seamless Codec for sound, while the QC Ultras 2 uses Bluetooth 5.3 and support SBC and AAC Lossless codecs. Samsung also offers seamless auto-switch between Samsung devices and supports features such as Gaming mode, 24-bit/96kHz ultra-high-quality (UHQ) audio, and Head Gestures limited to compatible Galaxy devices running a compatible version of One UI. The Galaxy Pro performs best within the Samsung ecosystem, like Apple's Bluetooth multipoint. The QC Ultra Earbuds 2's compact design is more sporty with stability bands, while Bose's compact and durable design is smaller and more compact than their predecessors' smaller cases and earbuds are different.
