Viggo Mortensen will not be reprising the role of Aragorn in Andy Serkis' "The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum," confirmed in an interview with ScreenRant. Other than Mortensen, Kate Winslet is confirmed to be joining the cast. The film will be set between ‘The Hobbit’ and “The Lord.
The movie is set to release in theaters on Dec. 17, 2027.
