Don't expect changes from Apple anytime soon, even with new leadership

Apple's CEO transition will take place in 2026, marking the first low-drama change since the company's inception. Despite claims that John Ternus will quickly change Apple's leadership, there is no immediate change. Tim Cook, who took over from Steve Jobs, made significant changes slowly, starting with the iMac and the iPad, and expanding into China under Jobs. The most significant shifts Apple took were the move away from the iPhone after Jobs' death. However, there have been some let-downs under Cook, with services like Apple Music and Apple TV being pioneered by Jobs. TERNus' vision for the future of Apple Vision Pro and spatial computing could only have been considered under Cook.
