Floyd William Parrott, 64, has been charged with capital murder in the 1990 "Lovers’ Lane" cold case murders of Cheryl Henry, 22, and Andy Atkinson, 21. The victims were found dead in a parked car in Houston on August 23, 1990. Despite multiple agencies assisting with the case, the murders remained unsolved until this month when investigators linked Parroatt to the crime. He was arrested in Lincoln, Nebraska, and is awaiting extradition to the Harris County jail.
