The 2026 Ohio Mr. Basketball finalists have been announced by the OPSWA. The last winner from the Miami Valley was Centerville guard Gabe Cupps in 2022. Other local winners include Xenia's Samari Curtis, Franklin's Luke Kennard, and Springfield Catholic Central's Jason Collier. The winner has been chosen by the Associated Press from 1987-2016. The finalists include two-time Mr.Basketball finalist Gator Nichols and reigning D-IV Ohio Player of the Year G.
