Roswell High School's dance squad, the Roswell Coyotes, won their sixth consecutive Class 5A state title at the State Spirit Championship dance competition. The team scored a combined 177.27 points for its routines, including one of only two scores of at least 90 points. Roswell's coach, Kim Castro, described the team's performance as one of their best performances ever. Volcano Vista (176.47) was runner-up, while Hozho Academy (168.23) placed third. The cheerleading portion of the spirit championships will be held all day Saturday.
