The smartwatch, designed primarily for novice runners and casual exercisers, has a compact design and durable build, and comes with workout plans and training insights. It is not advanced enough to satisfy the needs of professional runners, but it is also suitable for more experienced runners. The Active 3 premium also offers offline maps and up to 12 days of battery life, making it a worthy competitor to wearables that are two or three times the price. Despite lacking advanced mapping features or a versatile app ecosystem, the Amzfit Active 5 Premium tracks more activities than those of its competitors. It also offers an impressive range of smartwatch features such as Bluetooth calls, music, and NFC payments via Zepp Pay and calendar notifications.
