Expert: Officer-involved shooting in Boston reminder of dangers faced by officers, EMS

The fatal shooting of a man who allegedly attacked officers and an EMS clinician with a sword in Boston is a reminder of the dangers faced by first responders and law enforcement alike. Law enforcement and securty expert Todd McGhee suggested that if there is a perception of serious bodily injury or death, law enforcement may use lethal force. The two members of Boston EMS were treated for non-life-threatening injuries and both were transported to the hospital.
