David Punch, a 6-foot-7, 245-pound Harker Heights native, is the top power forward in the transfer portal to replace two forwards leaving the Texas men's basketball program. Punch, who was an honorable mention All-Big 12 selection and a first-team All-Gulf District pick by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, will move from Fort Worth to Austin with two years of eligibility remaining. He started all 34 games for the Horned Frogs this season with 14.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.
