Anavex Life Sciences (NASDAQ:AVXL) has had its European Alzheimer's Drug Filing withdrawn following feedback from the European Medicines Agency (EMA) Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP). Anavex had submitted the application after encouraging the SME Office of the EMA in October 2023. The company will now consider the differing assessment of the CHMP and conduct further analyses to address these issues.
