A man, 29-year-old John Smith Alrick, was hit by a car while crossing Grand Avenue in west Phoenix, Arizona. The driver remained at the scene of the accident and showed no signs of impairment. Alrick was taken to a hospital with serious injuries and later died. Police are seeking information about the accident.
