The 2026 NFL draft wide receiver class is predicted to have an instant impact in the pros, using Playmaker Score to predict player's receiving yards per year in his first five NFL seasons. The score measures player's peak college season and other variables, including ESPN's Scouts Inc. rankings, to project a player's performance. This is a change from when every NFL draft since 2019 has seen at least one wide receiver hit 1,000 yards as a rookie. The top eight prospects in the 2026 draft are considered solid, but this is not as good as 2024. The consensus top receiver in the draft is fifth-place Tate, who has a record 51 receptions with nine touchdowns in 2025.
