Standard Beer + Food, a restaurant group behind Person Street, has expanded into a second location in North Hills, North Hills. The new location features a full service and reservation-friendly menu featuring wood-fired cooking and a raw bar. The bar program at Standard NHID features six slushies on tap, house and guest beer, a low-intervention wine list, and a craft cocktail menu. Clouds Brewing has opened in the former location of Tobacco Road Sports Café in Raleigh, celebrating its first weekend with a limited menu of drinks and food. Sully’s Misfits Kitchen at 213 Fayetteville Street in Fuquay-Varina is now open and serving up good eats and drinks. Meanwhile, Beignets & Brew has opened on the ground floor of the Stanhope building in Raleigh and is set to serve hot, fresh-made beignets with various toppings, specialty coffees, teas, and breakfast croissants. Bubbakoo’�s Burritos, a Mexican-fusion concept, has opened its newest location in Cary and Sully's Misfit Kitchen in Fuqua-Varinia. Kristine Suhring and Andrew Mehring have officially opened a Korean-style convenience store in downtown Durham.
