James Cameron, the writer-director of Avatar: Fire and Ash, has stated that a fourth movie is still "very likely". This follows a report by Variety that the sequel had yet to generate a profit despite earning $1.45 billion at the global box office. Cameron stated that he is taking "audience feedback" into consideration when deciding where the franchise will go.
