89-year-old walks away unhurt after tornado rips through her property, longtime home

Severe thunderstorms produced tornadoes in Minnesota on Friday, damaging dozens of homes. The National Weather Service reported that tornadoes were spotted in the Marion area, with another in Wabasha County also reported. Despite the damage, 89-year-old woman, who has lived in her home for 63 years, escaped without injury. Several thousand homes and businesses were left without power following the storms. The weather forecast is expected to improve over the weekend as cleanup continues.
