The 2026 TCM Classic Film Festival will begin with Jane Fonda leading a tribute to her late co-star Robert Redford, "Barefoot in the Park." The gala opening-night screening of the 1967 film will be part of an evening at the TCL Chinese. Other special honorees at the festival include Barbara Hershey, songwriter Paul Williams and Bruce Goldstein, who served as founding artistic director of New York’s Film Forum and founded Rialto Pictures. The festival will run from April 30 through May 3. The theme of the 2026 event is "The World Comes to Hollywood," reflecting Hollywood's enduring legacy.
