Hulk Hogan, the late professional wrestling star, has expressed regret in his final interview before his death in 2025. In the final episode of the four-part documentary, Hulk Hogan: Real American, he reflects on using racial slurs when talking about his daughter's then-boyfriend in a leaked audio transcript. The documentary also includes Hogan's apology for the use of the N-word in an initial public fallout from the scandal, which many viewed as insincere and deflective. WWE removed Hogan from the WWE Hall of Fame in the aftermath of the incident and began to erase his legacy from the company he was once the face of during his career. Three years after the incident, WWE welcomed Hogan back into the fold, including hosting WrestleMania 37 in 2021 and publicly endorsed President Donald Trump, who has been accused of using racist language and terminology several times throughout his own life and career.
