A 19-year-old St. Paul man, Da'Carri Rennel Hood, has been charged with second-degree intentional murder in the fatal shooting death of 14-year old Charles Darnell Moore Jr. in February in Burnsville, Minnesota. The incident occurred at Glen Apartments on Harriet Avenue near Burnsville Parkway and was reported to police and paramedics who found Moore with multiple gunshot wounds. A witness reported hearing Hood saying he shot Moore because Moore had "upped" a gun on him, making it either "him or me". The medical examiner determined Moore's cause of death as a result of multiple gunshot wound and the manner of death to be homicide.
