Cubans queue for water in Havana amid fuel and power crisis

The Cuban capital, Havana, has been hit by severe fuel shortages and power instability, leading to a shortage of water supply. State water utility Aguas de La Habana confirmed that water pumping schedules and supply operations have been disrupted due to a lack of electricity. Residents have been hoisting buckets of water and waiting for tanker trucks to collect the water. This is not the first time this issue has existed since 2021.
